		Manchitas misteriosas Sep 27, 2008 Hola Doctor Steven, gracias por ser tan amable con todos nosotros. Es reconfortante saber que est� alguien profesional para ayudarnos. Felicidades! Tengo 25 a�os, cd4 190, CV 35,000 ... tengo un mes y medio que empec� mi terapida, tomando Efavirenz+Truvada y hace cerca de dos semanas me di cuenta que me empezaron a salir peque�as manchas rojas/rosas en los brazos, piernas y espalda, no me duelen ni me arden ni nada, pero me da miedo pensar que sea el inicio de SK, prefiero pensar que se debe a alguna reacci�n al�rgica al Efavirenz o al Truvada. Usted qu� opina, doctor!? Estoy muy angustiado !

Ni tu descripci�n ni el curso temporal concuerda con tu lista de diagn�sticos posibles. Aproximadamente una de cada cuatro personas que empiezan efavirenz (Sustiva) desarrolla una erupci�n; sin embargo, t�picamente ocurre durante las primeras DOS semanas despu�s de empezarla. El sarcoma de Kaposi (SK) t�picamente desaparece, no aparece, despu�s de empezar un r�gimen anti-VIH eficaz. Lo esencial es que deber�as ir a ver a tu m�dico especialista en VIH para un examen de piel. Mucha suerte y un fuerte abrazo.
