Efectos secundarios estomacales

Estimado Dr:
Le escribo para preguntarle que puedo hacer para aliviar el malestar estomacal que me producen los medicamentos que estoy tomando ahora. Actualmente estoy tomando Norvir, Duovir y Telzir. Me causan mucha molestia en el estomago, como acidez y mal sabor de boca. Me puede recomendar algun medicamento para subsanar esto? En el internet lei que el Omeprazole alivia estos sintomas pero intrefiere con el efecto del Telzir. Ayudeme! Gracias.

Querido Rocky,
Tus síntomas tienen un saborcillo al reflujo gastroesofágico, el que puede ser relacionado o no a tu régimen anti-VIH. Omeprazole es un fármaco eficaz para tratar esta condición. Y te tengo muy buenas noticias: omeprazole no interfiere con el efecto ni de Telzir, ni de Norvir, ni de Duovir (zidovudina + lamivudina).
