¿hay más casos?

de septiembre de 1997 a julio de 2005 estuve medicado con AZT/DDI (terapia doble) con CV indetectable y CD4 promedio 800. Desde julio 2005 suspendi medicacion y sigo indetectable y con un CD4 promedio similar. ¿existen más casos similares al mio? Gracias

Sí, hay un grupo de personas con VIH, representando entre el 1% y el 5% de todos los portadores, llamado los no progresores a largo plazo (NPLP). Sin tratamiento, mantienen un recuento de CD4 superior a 500 durante un período de tiempo ampliado. Asimismo, una proporción de no progresores tiene una carga viral indetectable. Parece que eres socio de este grupo de no progresores. ¡Felicitaciones!
