		Puedo casarme si soy VIH+ en Mexico? May 17, 2009 Hola, Me pensaba casar en diciembre en Mexico (Cuernavaca) pero la ley de ese estado dice "SI EL V.D.R.L. RESULTA SER POSITIVO, NO PODR�N CONTRAER MATRIMONIO DE ACUERDO AL ART. 127, EN SU FRACCI�N X, DEL C�DIGO CIVIL DEL ESTADO". Mi futura esposa sabe que soy VIH+ pero no sabemos si nos podemos casar. Si soy VIH+, la prueba VDRL sera siempre positiva? (entiendo que VDRL es para sifilis). Saben si la ley es la misma en el Distrito Federal (Ciudad de Mexico)? Saben donde puedo averiguar esto? Muchas gracias.


Advertisement Respuesta del Dr. Natterstad Hola, La prueba VDRL es el primer paso en el proceso de diagnosticar la s�filis. Una segunda prueba confirmatoria (FTA-ABS o TP-PA) es requerida para hacer un diagn�stico definitivo. Es decir que hay pruebas VDRL que son falsas positivas. De hecho, hasta el 6% de portadores tienen una VDRL falsa positiva. Sin embargo, una prueba confirmatoria podr� descartar la s�filis en estos casos y as� despejar la nave a un matrimonio de gozo en M�xico. �Felicitaciones anticipadas!
