Dr. Ante nada gracias por su informacion , mi cuñada tiene 2 años que le diagnosticaron con vih, desde entonces recibe tratmiento de targa, ahota ultimo tiene gastritis, hiperacidez que puede tomar por favor. espero su pronta respuesta

La buena noticia es que hay tratamiento disponible para estos problemas gastrointestinales. Una advertencia, sin embargo: hay interacciones potenciales entre algunos de estos tratamientos y algunos de los fármacos antirretrovirales. Por ejemplo, los antiácidos pueden reducir la concentración de atazanvir (Reyataz) en sangre. También famotidina (Pepcid), uno de los fármacos llamados bloqueadores H2 que reducen la cantidad de ácido producido por el estómago, puede reducir las concentraciones en sangre de atazanavir. Claro que no sé lo que está tomando tu cuñada; sin embargo, lo esencial es que debería tratar este problema con su médico especialista en VIH.
