hola doc espero y este bien del todo saludos. quisiera saber que pasaria si despues de tomar el tratamiento y los cd4 se elevan a mas de 500 y la carga viral llega a un estado indetectable. ¿que pasaria si se suspende el tratamiento? para evitar que el tratamiento cause efectos secundarios, hablo de suspenderlo por un periodo de 2 años sin dejar de hecerse el examen de carga viral y cd4 por fabor digame su opinion . muchas gracias

Buenos días,
¿Qué pasaría? Como era de esperar la carga viral aumentaría y los CD4 se caerían. En pocas palabras, tu plan de suspender el tratamiento para evitar los efectos secundarios es inconveniente. Los estudios que han investigado este tema de interrumpir la terapia han demostrado constantemente que es mucho mejor continuar tomando un régimen eficaz. Si los efectos secundarios presentan un problema, la mejor línea de acción será cambiar de régimen y no dejar de tomarlo.
