tengo dudas y angustia

Doctor mis preguntas son muchas hace unos dias me hice el examen de hiv y el papanicolao y me llamaron que fuera pues fui y me dieron la mala noticia que era positiva del hiv me volvieron a realizar el examen y me volvio a salir positivo pero hay otra cosa el mismo dia me hicieron el examen de saliva y uno donde le sacan sangre del dedo y los dos salen negativos las dos veces no se doctor que pensar porque tengo mi pareja desde hace ocho meses y el se realizo la prueba y salio negativo me preocupa todo esto porque la anterior pareja mia fue mi ex esposo y tengo mi hijo que hace 5 0 6 meses lo deje de amamantar el me preocupa ahora es una angustia grande usted cree que mi hijo tenga el hiv contesteme pronto doctor se lo voy agradecer mucho

Hola,
Escribiste "no sé doctor que pensar . . . ." Yo no sé que pensar tampoco porque tienes resultados contradictorios: dos exámenes del VIH positivos y dos exámenes rápidos de VIH (uno de fluido oral y uno de sangre) negativos. Antes que nada debes determinar si eres VIH positivo o no. Porque a este momento no es claro. Necesitas hacerte una prueba de anticuerpos (como una ELISA, por ejemplo). Si resulta ser positiva, el laboratorio debe hacer otra prueba llamada Western Blot para confirmar el resultado positivo. Una prueba de anticuerpos positiva sin una prueba Western Blot positiva confirmatoria no indica la seropositividad.
