B2M-beta 2 microglobulina

Que taL doctor,le escribo desde Peru,mi duda es la siguiente,a mi pareja le hicieron una prueba de sangre para saber si estaba embarazada,(test de hormona beta gonadotropina)pero en la hoja del resultado tambien habia el resultado de otra prueba,el nombre de la prueba es B2M-beta 2 microglobulina,quisiera saber si esta prueba B2M es utilizada como prueba de sida,el resultado de esta prueba fue el siguiente,valor referencia:0.8-2.2 mg/l no hay reactivo,quisiera saber si esta prueba es utilizada como diagnostico de vih,agradecere su pronta respuesta,muchas gracias.

Hola,
Me parece que le hicieron la prueba por equivocación. La prueba de embarazo se llama beta HCG. Por la similitud entre el nombre de esta prueba y el de la otra prueba, beta 2 microglobulina, concluiría yo que fue un error a algún punto durante el proceso de mandar la prueba. Sin embargo, no es de ninguna manera una prueba del VIH.
