consulta de tratamiento

Dr Steve , le agradezco indicarme sus observaciones sobre el siguiente tratamiento que me indicaron es el kaletra con Duovir dos kaletra y un duovir cada 12 hrs , soy vih desde hace 5 años y tres meses , en el 2003 tome stocrin y combivir y lo aguante por un mes ,no tome mas tratamiento, mis cd4 actuales son 250 y carga 50000 copias Alberto de venezuela

Hola Alberto de Venezuela,
No soy un gran admirador de Duovir porque contiene zidovudina (AZT, Retrovir), el que ha caído en desgracia por su perfil infavorable de efectos secundarios y toxicidades (anemia, lipoatrofia, etc.). Sin embargo, para darte más consejos en cuanto a un régimen recomendado, necesitaría yo más información, en concreto los resultados de tus exámenes de resistencia. Porque has tomado por lo menos uno régimen en el pasado, deberías hacerte los dos tipos de exámenes de resistencia -- el genotipo y el fenotipo. Escríbeme nuevamente cuando tienes estos resultados y continuaremos.
