Tema pancreatitis , le respondo , ya me hice el genotipo GRACIAS!!

Gracias por responderme! le cuento Querido Doctor, que ya me hice mi genotipo ( el cual me pagué yo misma, ya que acá las obras sociales no lo dan y aún teniendo yo la "mas cara" prepaga no quizo autorizarmelo) por suerte, no me dio resistencia a ningun medicamento... por eso como tengo el higado graso y tuve la "pancreatitis" queria saber que era mejor como primer tratamiento si Tenofovir y lamivudina, ó "Kivexa". Sé que alguno de los dos afecta más aún al hígado pero no sabía cual.

Querida Nora,
¡Qué escándolo que las obras sociales, aún las más caras, no cubren las pruebas de resistencia, aún cuando su eficacia se ha probado y aún cuando hoy en día se recomiendan antes de empezar el primer régimen (ve las directrices de tratamiento más recientes)! Sin embargo, las noticias buenas son que "no (te) dio resistencia a ningún medicamento."
Bueno, te recomendaría definitivamente tenofovir + lamivudina antes que Kivexa (abacavir + lamivudina). Más que de potencialidad de la hepatotoxicidad, es el hecho que abacavir tiene un perfil de efectos secundarios y toxicidades potenciales (en concreto la reacción de hipersensibilidad) menos favorable que el de tenofovir.
