Ante todo, estoy azombrado por el vínculo virtual que tiene con sus "pacientes" y la confianza que nos transmite en cada una de sus respuestas. GRACIAS!!! en nombre de todos los que vivimos con HIV.
PREGUNTA:
Estoy bajo tratamiento desde hace 11 años.(900 CD4) Hoy tomo "KIVEXA"(Abacavir 600 + Lamivudina 300)1 dosis cada 24 hrs. y Stavudina 40, 1 dosis cada 12 hrs.
Que posibilidades existen de juntar las dos cápsulas de esta última droga en una sola toma cada 24 hrs.
Lo consulte con mi médica y me propuso que lo intente. Me gustaría tener su opinión tambien. GRACIAS y POR FAVOR necesitaría la respuesta.

Estavudina (Zerit) se debe tomar dos veces al día. La fabricante ha desarrollado una formulación que se puede tomar una vez al día (Zerit XR); sin embargo, ya no es disponible.
F, tus CD4 son sensacionales. ¿Qué es tu carga viral? Si no es indetectable, piensa seriamente en cambiar de régimen. Estoy un poco preocupado por tu régimen porque comprende tres fármacos, todos de la misma categoría de antirretrovirales -- los nucleósidos. En general es preferible tomar un régimen que contiene más de una categoría de fármacos. Suelen ser más eficaz y duradero.
