Estimado Steve, emmpeze a tomar comvibir con efavirenz, el unico efecto secundario que he sentido es un poco de mareo del efavirenz, mi vida es muy activa, algun dia me puedo acostar a las 21 como de repente a las 24, tengo 2 preguntas bine concretas 1-¿es necesario tomar el efavirenz a una determinada hora siempre o antes de acostarse indistintamente de la hora?
2- ¿cuanto dura los efectos del efavirenz en sangre?

Hola amigo de un "chiquito país al sur,"
¿No nombre de tu país? ¿Solamente esta insinuación? Adivino El Salvador, definitivamente un "chiquito país al sur." ¡Basta de juegos de adivinanzas! Bueno, tus preguntas.
1. Deberías esforzarte por tomar el efavirenz alrededor de la misma hora cada noche. Sin embargo, una hora más temprano o más tarde no importa mucho. El tomarlo en ayunas, es decir dos horas después de o una hora antes de comer, ayudará a mitigar los efectos secundarios, tal como el "poco de mareo" que sientes. Estos efectos secundarios -- mareos, insomnio, embotamiento, pesadillas, etc. -- son muy comunes durante las primeras semanas después de iniciar tratamiento con efavirenz (Sustiva). Afortunadamente, lo más probable es que mejoren estos síntomas con el tiempo.
2. El efavirenz es un medicamento de relativamente larga duración. Por eso, se lo puede dosificar cada 24 horas.
