hola que tal he estado infectador desde hace 7 años y empese mi tratamiento con zerit. 3ts y ziagenavir llevo ya 7 años y siempre he estado indetectable y mis cd4 980 o mas pero mi problema es son los trigliseridos mi pregunta puedo suspendar el tratamiento por algun tiempo para desintoxicarme y despues de unos meses volverlo a tomar?

Estoy excelente. Gracias. El jurado no está deliberando más. Emitió su veredicto: las interrupciones de la terapia conducen a más SIDA, más muertes y más enfermedad cardiaca. La respuesta no es suspender el tratamiento, sino un cambio de régimen. No me gusta tu régimen actual por varias razones, las dos más importantes siendo la falta de diversidad de tu régimen (está compuesto de sólo los nucleósidos) y la inclusión de Zerit (D4T, stavudina), el que está causando, más probablemente, la elevación de los triglicéridos. Habla con tu médico especialista en VIH de la posibilidad de sustituir Zerit por o un no nucleósido o un inhibidor de la proteasa potenciado por ritonavir.
