Hola! he leido sobre la discontinuidad de fortovase, sin embargo mi regimen es SAQUINAVIR (FORTOVASE) + RITONAVIR (200 mg c/una c/12 hs) y este tratamiento es exitoso hasta ahora desde marzo 1998 (casi 10 aņos) Puede ser? el otro tema q me preocua es si estoy en riesgo cardicaco?

Si, puede ser, esta combinacion fue de las primeras en utilizarse con exito hace como usted dice muchos anos. No se preocupe ya que la compania mantendra Invirase para su uso en el mercado.
El riesgo cardiaco lo determinaran otros factores tales como edad y tiempo de infeccion, uso de cigarrillo, cantidad de lipidos en sangre, trigliceridos, colesterol, (LDL,HDL,VLDL, particulas lipidas de tamano pequeno) glucosa en sangre, hipertension entre otros. Consulte con su medico y pidale que le haga una estimacion de riesgo segun la ecuacion de Framingham la cual establece su riesgo de desarrollar problemas cardiacos a 5-10 anos.
