CD4 de 113 a 6 y CV indetectable

Hola Doctor, mi porcentaje actual de CD4 es 1% indica que también descendió, estoy tomando AZT(Lamivudina 150 y Zidovudina 300 y Efavirenz 600( disculpe mi confusión) y mis médicos eperan que el descenso de CD4 se deba a un virus, ya que estoy con tos, me recetó mi doctora Claritromicina y Ventolin(tengo estudios de tuberculosis negativo-Cándida negativo recientemente)si luego de ésta terapia al hacerme un nuevo CD4 no se modificó planea cambiar el Bactrim. Por otro lado las plaquetas y los glóbulos rojos están bien según mi doctora.¿Usted cree que todo ésto es lo conveniente o tendría que tener algo más en cuenta? Muchas gracias por su dedicación. Hola nuevamente Marcelo,
Creo que es muy improbable que una infección ligera como la tos que describiste cause tal descenso dramático en el conteo de CD4 y el porcentaje de CD4 (6 y 1% respectivamente). Sin embargo, ahora que sé que estás tomando zidovudina, otra explicación es que este fármaco está atemperando tu respuesta en cuanto al conteo de CD4. Si tu próximo CD4 sigue en este mismo rango, te recomiendo que pienses seriamente en un cambio de régimen, a uno que no contiene zidovudina (tenofovir puede ser una buena opción par ti). Si este cambio no afecta favorablemente tus CD4, pues debes pensar en cambiar el Bactrim. Mucha suerte y un fuerte abrazo.
