Doctor soy Andres de Cd. Juarez, Mexico, mi pregunta es me detectaron hiv EN MARZO MI CARGA VIRAL ERA DE MAS DE 100 MIL UNIDADES Y MI cd4 150 ACTUALMENTE TENGO 10000 CV Y MI cd4 MAS DE 300 EN FEBRERO ME HAGO EL NUEVO ANALISIS LE INFORMARE PERO ME ATACO EL CMV ME ESTAN DANDO VALCYTE EL OJO IZQUIERDO LO TENGO MUY AFECTADO Y EL DERECHO ME RECUPERO YA NO VOY A RECUPERAR LA VISION DEL OJO IZQUIERDO O SE PUEDE HACER ALGO.
POR QUE SEGUN MI DOCTOR LO PERDERE LA VISION TOTAL Y ESO ME ENTRISTECE MUCHO.

Querido Andres,
Te recomiendo que obtengas otra opinión de un oftalmólogo que tiene experiencia también en tratar las personas seropositivas. Primero, porque no estoy seguro de tu diagnóstico: la persona típica que desarrolla retinitis por CMV tiene menos de 50 CD4. En segundo lugar, porque si tienes de hecho retinitis por CMV, querrás asegurarte de que estás recibiendo el tratamiento óptimo. ¡No esperes, actúa ahora!
