Estimado doctor:
Le suplico por favor que conteste mi pregunta ya que estoy muy angustiada.
Hace un año mas o menos me hice una revision medica general y me diagnosticaron anticuerpos de toxoplasmosis, el medico me dijo que en algun momento de mi vida estuve con la enfermedad pero que mi cuerpo ya tiene anticuerpos. Pero en fin en Agosto de este año tuve una relacion sexual de riesgo con una persona y luego me hice 2 elisas uno a la semana 15 y otro a la semana 23. Mi pregunta es la siguiente,
Es posible que debido a los anticuerpos del toxoplasmosis mis resultados de hiv sean falsos negativos? Puedo estar tranquila con esos dos elisas negativos o debo repetir la prueba?
Como influyen los anticuerpos del toxoplasmosis en una persona que se infecta de vih?
Por favor respondame, yo se que usted es una persona con mucha sensibilidad humana yo me encuentro al borde del suicidio por que creo que me infecte con el vih por favor....respondame... se lo agradezco mucho!!!

Estimada amiga,
No, no es posible que debido a los anticuerpos de la toxoplasmosis tus resultados de VIH son falsos negativos. Puedes estar tranquila con tus ELISAs negativos. ¡Tú eres verdaderamente VIH negativa!
En una persona seropositiva, es importante saber si los anticuerpos de toxoplasmosis son presentes, porque a un cierto nivel de CD4, es decir por debajo de 100 células, sería necesario iniciar la profilaxis contra la toxoplasmosis en enfermos con serología positiva (anticuerpos anti-Toxoplasma).
Eres negativa. Pues bien, suspende por favor los planes para suicidarte.
