buen dia doctor mi inquietud es la siguiente comence en enero 2007 tratamiento retroviral con efavirenz y duovir zidovudina /lamibudina y forcrim con conteo cd4 en 176, estuve bien hasta que comence con una debilidad y mareos me tocaba hacerme examenes de sangre y la hemoglobina me salio en 4.5, por lo cual me tranfundieron de urgencia y pare los medicamentos, ahora bien lei que unos de los componentes del duovir lamiduvina/zidovudina crea efecto de supresion de medula es esto cierto? y segundo si mi medico debe cambiar mi regimen de retrovirales? se despide de usted con un fuerte abrazo este servidor y gracias por estar alli...

Entiendo que definitivamente usted parece ser bien sensitiva al Zidovudine que es el medicamento que puede afectar la medula. La recomendacion seria susutituir la zidovudina por Tenofovir o Abacavir, esto resolveria el problema siempre y cuando no haya otro factor que este afectando la medula y el cual debe de ser investigado y corregido. Espero que la informacion le ayude, por favor no olvide consultar con su medico.
