hola doc,a mi señora le dio positivo depues de un indeterminado,llegamos a la conclusion con su especialista que se contagio en diciembre del 2006.
estamos esperando resultados de cd4y carga viral,segun su especialista en hiv muy probablemente no necesite por unos años medicacion.
1-de ser asi en esos años puede tener alguna enfermedad directa del hiv?
2-HAY TIEMPO MINIMO DE VIDA PARA UNA PERSONA RECIEN INFECTADA Y YA EN CONOCIMIENTO DE UM ESPECIALISTA?
3-TENGO DOS NENEs UNO DE 8 Y OTRO DE 12 COMODEBERIA CUIDARLOS'?
4-de mi ultima relacion sin preservativos tengo 2 elisas negativos 1 al mes y el otro a los 2meses ahora me hare otro a los tres no tengo sintomas cree usted que sera tambien negativo,
espero respuesta hace 3 dias que no duemo.

Querido Alejandro de La Argentina,
Me da tristeza que a tu señora le dio positivo; sin embargo, estoy aquí, en una situación similar al tuyo (mi pareja Dr. Bob, el experto en dos foros aquí en este sitio Web The Body, también es seropositivo), para decirte que sus vidas no están terminadas ni mucho menos. Sí, están entrando en una etapa de la vida nueva y primero necesitan pasar por una transición muy difícil, pero soy muy optimista que saldrán de esto aún más fuertes.
Tu esposa se contagió muy recientemente y ya está en manos de un médico especialista en VIH/SIDA. Por eso y a la luz de las herramientas avanzadas de controlar el VIH y de los medicamentos antirretrovirales eficaces, duraderos y relativamente bien tolerados que son disponibles hoy en día, predigo que ella tendrá una vida muy larga y de una calidad muy alta. En cuanto a tus dos nenes, cuídalos como cualquier padre los cuidaría a sus niños a quines ama mucho.
En cuanto a tus ELISAs, el primero al mes y el otro a los dos meses, son muy alentadores; sin embargo, porque tuvo las relaciones sin preservativos, si tu resultado es de nuevo negativo a los tres meses, hazte un examen último a los seis meses para asegurarte de que eres definitivamente negativo. Pienso que va a ser negativo.
