felicidades por su labor.
soy positivo desde hace 2 anos 7 meses actualemnte mis cd4 295 y mi carga viral indetectable por 3 trimestres menores a 50.
puedo tener relaciones sexuakes sin riesgo de contagio aun sin condon lei algo sobre esto dado mi carga viral baja.
he leido de estudios en europa en donde con estos indicadores puedes tener hijos con esposa negativa.
es correcto esto.
si no uso condon la puedo contagiar con mis niveles.???

Hola,
No, absolutamente no. No puedes tener relaciones sexuales sin preservativo SIN riesgo de contagio aún dado tu carga viral indetectable. Indetectabilidad no significa que el VIH no esté presente en el cuerpo; sino que el examen no detecta una cantidad de virus inferior a 50 copias. Es verdad que el riesgo es más bajo con una carga viral más bajo; sin embargo, todavía existe y es real. Sigue utilizando un preservativo todas y cada una de las veces.
Bueno, en cuanto a tener hijos con esposa negativa, sí existe una técnica llamada "sperm washing," por la cual la esperma está separada de los fluidos y las células del semen que puedan llevar el virus. Entonces, la esperma puede ser usada para la inseminación artificial o la fecundación "in vitro." La esperma sí misma puede llevar VIH, pero la mayoría del VIH está llevada por las otras células del semen. Permítame darles algunos contactos y otras fuentes de información. Dr. Augusto Semprini ha usado "sperm washing" en Italia con algún éxito.
