Que diferencia hay con la nevirapina y efivarenz..
que tal es la conbinación de nevirapina + conbivir(lamivudina+zidovudina)

Hola,
Nevirapina (Viramune) y efavirenz (Sustiva, Stocrin) son de la misma categoría de antirretrovirales llamada los inhibidores no nucleósidos de la transcriptasa reversa, o los no nucleósidos para abreviar. En general, entre los dos, efavirenz es preferido como parte de un régimen inicial, porque los datos de seguridad lo favorecen. La excepción es durante el embarazo o en mujeres que están pensando concebir o que no están usando contracepción eficaz y coherente. Sin embargo, nevirapina se puede utilizar como alternativa en un régimen inicial en mujeres adultas con los CD4 pretratados iguales a o por debajo de las 250 células o, en hombres, las 400 células. Durante los ensayos clínicos, la hepatotoxicidad se observaba con mucha más frecuencia en mujeres con los CD4 pretratados por encima de las 250 células y, en hombres, las 400 células.
