Hola Dr.:me da gusto conocer la pag. soy VIH + tengo 31 años, estoy bajo tratamiento desde mi diagnostico, hace 3 años,con carga no detectable mis CD4 son de 40%. Quiero ser mama, mi esposo tiene miedo (el no se contagio)y no niego que yo tb, el tema ademas de el contagio al bebe es que riesgos o consecuencias puede tener el bebe con la medicación que ingiero (Neviparina, Lamivudina y Stavudina) se conocen?

Hola Soledad,
Si quieres ser mama, no hay ninguna razón por qué no puedes alcanzar este objetivo. Claro que necesitarás utilizar la inseminación artificial para proteger tu esposo. Una vez que estás embarazada, te aconsejo que cuentes con los servicios de un obstetra experto en este campo de las portadoras embarazadas. La única advertencia a la que daría lugar en cuanto a tu régimen actual nevirapina, lamivudina y stavudina sería que stavudina, particularmente cuando está utilizado junto con didanosina, puede estar asociado a un riesgo elevado de acidosis láctea en las portadoras embarazadas.
Soledad, una cosa más, tu futuro bebe necesitará el tratamiento antirretroviral al tiempo del parto. Por lo tanto, tendrás que consultar a un pediatra experto en la asistencia médica de los recién nacidos de las portadoras. Espero que esta información te ayude. Mucha suerte y un caluroso abrazo.
