estimado dr: me dianosticaron hiv + hace 2 meses a raiz de una diarrea cronica
tengo una carga viral de 4400 y 125 cd 4 mi problema es que tengo diarreas intermitentes estoy tomando 3tc complex efavirenz 600mg desde hace 30 dias he perdido 10 kg en un año como lo recupero ahora me mantengo en 66 kg dr: con estos datos tengo sida me podria decir que perspectivas de vida tengo como mejoro mi diarreas no son infecciosas muchas gracias

Hola amigo(a),
Escribiste que tu diarrea no es infecciosa, pero ¿estás seguro que todos los cultivos de materia fecal se realizaran para descartar una causa infecciosa, tal como bacteriológica o parásita? Si no es el caso, habla a tu médico especialista en VIH y le pida que te mande los exámenes apropiados. Si una causa infecciosa se ha descartado y la diarrea persiste, una consulta con un gastroenterólogo puede ser conveniente. Otra cosa que deberías tener en cuenta es que existe la verdadera posibilidad de que la diarrea mejore mientras los CD4 aumentan, lo cual se espera ahora que estás tomando el tratamiento.
En cuanto a perspectivas de vida que tienes, estoy muy optimista ahora que estás tomando un buen régimen -- 3TC complex (zidovudina + lamivudina) y efavirenz (Sustiva, Stocrin). Ya que hace 30 días que estás tomando tu régimen nuevo, te recomiendo que te hagas ahora otra carga viral para confirmar que está diminuyendo, indicando que tu régimen está funcionando bien.
