SOY ENFERMO DE SIDA SE DETECTO EL VIH EN EL AŅO1985 enel98 tube linfoma nohotkin tratado con quimioterapia en el 2000 tube toxoplasmosis cerebral tratado co sulfa quedando una secuela motris en milado derecho con los aņos sobre todo este ultimo note menor fuerza en mi pierna que lo normal se me hiso una rn completa y se detecto leucoencefalopatia multifocal progresiva me entere hace horas y nesecito informacion lara de como seguir con esto gracias

Estimado Amigo:
La leucoencefalopatia multifocal progresiva es una condicion neurologica debilitante causada por entidades virales tales como el VIH y el JC la cual es parcialmente controlable y necesita atencion especial con premura.
Una de las estrategias de manejo primordiales es asegurarse que comienze (si no lo esta ) en tratamiento antiretroviral para poder suprimir el virus y detener el proceso. En la mayoria de las veces no tan solo el virus hace el daņo directo a las celulas cerebrales sino tambien el proceso de inflamacion cronica causado por la infeccion y activacion del sistema inmune contribuyen a este deterioro.
Mi mejor recomendacion ante su situacion es asegurarse que su terapia esta siebdo efectiva en suprimir el virus y tratar de conseguir la evaluacion en algun Centro Medico Academico o Universitario en Neuologia orientada a VIH.
