Con un cd4 960 es necesario hacerse una carg viral? He leido mucho en este pagina sobre el tema y en algunas ocasiones si han recomendado hacerlo porque puede haber muchas copias del virus. Usted cree que se necesite ya una muestra de carga viral para el tratamiento

¡Absolutamente! No "en algunas ocasiones," sino en todas ocasiones. El recuento de CD4 provee un pantallazo del estatus del sistema inmunitario. La carga viral indica el nivel de actividad del virus en el organismo o sea cómo agresiva es la infección. Los dos resultados son necesarios para una evaluación completa de un portador y para tomar decisiones importantes, tal como cuándo empezar tratamiento.
