Una carga viral alta ayuda a contagiar el virus mas facimente?

Hola tengo 23 años y me diagnosticaron Vih en Noviembre del 2007 al hacerme un chequeo de rutina y tengo cd4 526 y 260.000 de cv .
Mi pregunta es 1¿En que cantidad influye tener una carga viral alta y la transmision del virus?; 2 ¿ Y si influye, porq no se toma en consideracion a la hora de decidir empesar el tratamiento para bajar la c.v y evitar los contagios?

Mis respuestas:
1. Cuanto más alta sea la carga viral, más alto es el riesgo de transmitir el virus. Recuerda que incluso una carga viral indetectable no elimina el riesgo, porque no señala que el virus está ausente, sino que está presente en una cantidad por debajo del límite inferior de detectabilidad del examen.
2. La realidad es que hoy en día esta correlación puede tomarse en consideración a la hora de tomar decisiones con respecto a empezar tratamiento. Por ejemplo, el miembro VIH positivo de una pareja serodiscordante puede decidir comenzar un régimen antirretroviral para suprimir su carga viral y así proteger a su pareja negativa, incluso cuando tus resultados no cumplan los criterios para empezar tratamiento como declarados en las directrices de tratamiento actuales.
En tu situación, sin importar estas otras consideraciones, se podría exponer fácilmente un argumento para recomendar tratamiento, porque tu carga viral de 260.000 copias excede el umbral de 100.000 utilizado, independidamente del recuento de CD4, por muchos expertos como criterio para empezar tratamiento.
