Jun 21, 2001

i sometimes, like once a week bump up my energy with a little very cut cociane. at time when not eating much or need to relax, use a little pot.i know that crystal meth eats up your t-cells,but how bad would cocaine(used sparingly)be on you,i am not adiccted to it,and it really does help my quality of life.have been very healthy for the last 14rs(poz) never any o.i's viral load undetect,t-cells round 600.very athletic, and poz attitude.

Response from Dr. Henry

The major problem related to recreational drug use is lose of good judgement when under the influence. Loss of good judgement can lead to unsafe sexual, needle, or driving practices. Acquiring additional strains of HIV or other virusers (such as CMV, herpes, HPV, Kaposi's sarcoma related herpes virus, syphylis, etc) can compromise your immune system. Crystal meth can be of variable purity and if high purity can lead to cardiac problems even death. KH
