|Any experience with Meniere's Disease and HIV?
Aug 26, 2012
I have been diaganoised with Meniere's Disease. I have been HIV positive for 20 years and Type 1 Diabetic for 33 years. I am actually doing fine but curious about now being diagnoised with Meniere's. Have not been able to find anyone with all 3 diseases and wanting to know if you have any experience?

Menieres disease (disoder of inner ear resulting in hearing/balance problems) is seen in the general population (190 cases /100,000 patients has been cited as the rate) so there are cases that occur in HIV+ persons and/or diabetics. I have cared for several HIV+ persons with Meniere's disease and many HIV+ persons with diabetes-( I dont recall caring for any px with all 3 disorders as you have experienced). If any reader has had that experience please post/share your experience. KH
