for how long one regimen works?
Jul 20, 2012

hello doctor, on average, for how long a person be healthy taking a single regimen like atripla or other? few months/years or decade? please tell me from ur immense clinical experience. thanks.

Response from Dr. Henry

For patients suppressed on Atripla, for example, or other regimens, who remain highly adherent, the effectiveness of the regimen could last for many decades -- no typical end-of-effectiveness time threshold has been identified. KH
