About L.S.D , H.I.V....and T.H.C
Feb 17, 2012

Hello to all.I am a dancer.I got hiv.I do't know whne exactly, but between a year and two.I was diagnosticated "positive" (the word sounds like a bad joke sometimes....).I had an hepatistis a with sequels.I feel the need to use L.s.d sometimes, while dancing:it had helped me psychologiccalley a great deal.Dancing in wonderful places while listening incredible electronic music on L.S.d.Will I still be able to do it while under treatment.Same thing aboutfirst class marihuana?Thank you very much, very glad i can finally ask someone :)

Response from Dr. Henry

I am unaware of any studies carefully looking at use of LSD in the setting of HIV infection on various antiretroviral therapy regimens not have I had much experience with our own clinic patients using LSD-thus tough to comment based on data or experience. Lots of marijuana use in HIV + patients-generally not a problem with drug interactions though concern about increased risk for missed doses and unsafe behaviors. If any reader knows of a published study reference please post.KH
