Hi Dr. How do I make a donation? I am new to this! It is for such a great cause!!!
I have read through your archives and i really admire what you do!!
I have a very quick question. Which may seem rather silly.
What is the difference between these two statements???
Producing anti-HIV antibodies AND producing HIV antibodies??
Why is the "anti" sometimes written and sometimes not?
Is there a difference between the two statements?
Thankyou.. Once you reply i will send donation immediately!!
Response from Dr. Henry
I would interpret the terms "HIV-antibodies" and "anti-HIV antibodies" as referring to the same thing, i.e. gamma globulin proteins produced by cells in the body in response to the presence of HIV particles/viruses in the body in a defensive effort to control the infection. KH
