Response from Dr. Henry
An assessment for possible causes of jerking (ie seizure or other neurologic disorder) is recommended. A full assessment by his HIV specialist is warranted to determine if your son would benefit from starting effective HIV treatment (treatment generally helps protect the immune system and in some causes helps promote more normal development).
