pml Apr 22, 2011 any advances in pml treatment?i have had pml for about 4 yrs. do you know of any research on pml that are accepting applicants for a research study? thank you, brian |

 I havent seen any new effective/safe treatments for PML recently. Effective HIV treatment often stabilizes the process but specific JC virus treatment remains problematic. Much of the brain damage caused by PML resembles a stroke such that brain healing is highly variable dependent partly on location and extent of PML brain lesions. If any reader has a worthwhile reference on any promising treatments for PML please post. KH | ||||||||
