| Safe for pregancy ARVs Nov 2, 2010 Hi Dr I am currently on Truvada and Stocrine. i am looking for an aternative regime to use because my husband and I will like to have a baby. i know that stocrine is not suitable for pregnant women what other alternatives do I have? i am seeing my Physician abotu this matter but i would also like to do my own research b4 i see her. |

In our clinic we typically would switch a patient from Truvada + Strocrine to Truvada + a boosted protease inhibitor (most often ritonavir + atazanavir or lopinavir). ALternatively, some clinicians might consider switching the Truvada to Combivir and/or the Stocrine to nevirapine depending on the circumstances. Good luck! KH | |||||||||
