| serious liver diseases with full blown aids Oct 26, 2010 my boyfriend has full blown aids he has had it for over 20yrs now and is on the cocktail. he is a minister and clean for over 20yrs. he doesnot drink, smoke, nor do drugs, nor drink caffeine. his doctor informed him that he has serious issues with his liver that will cause him to be hospitalized for awhile. what kidney problems can he have he has closed up about it. |

HIV/AIDS rarely directly causes serious liver damage which is often due to other conditions (such as hepatitis B/C). Kidney damage can be caused by HIV in some populations though often other conditions (high blood pressure and diabetes are common causes) often play a major role. KH | |||||||||
