| Undetectable but with high LDL levels Sep 7, 2010 I have been undetectable for several year but during my last labs result, descovered that my LDL levels where sky-rocket. My previous labs overseas were normal but the one in the us not so much, I am also living at a high altitude level overseas. Any recommendations. |

Reason for high LDL levels needs to be evaluated (factors can include genetics, diet, and HIV drugs) so that treatment plan can be reasonably formulated. Diet and exercise is often first approach utilized. An assessment of cardiac risk is important to prioritize the problem. Other cardiac risk factors (notably smoking) need to be assessed and addressed if risk is moderate to high. KH | |||||||||
