Depends on which HIV meds you are taking. Use of efavirenz with Plavix could decrease Plavix levels for example. Some blood pressure meds (such as calcium channel blockers) have to be used carefully with protease inhibitors. Niaspan can be tricky even in the general population due to flushing/gut problems but usaully OK from the HIV drug interaction standpoint. KH | ||||||||||
