| Truvada+Viramune Jul 7, 2009 I have been on Truvada+Viramune for a month now. I am waiting on my first results while on these meds. I have noticed that I find myself feeling cold at times. At work I ask around the office if anyone else is cold and everyone else seems to be fine but I feel cold enough to have to turn on a heater. And at home I use to set the AC at 77, but now I find that to be a bit chilly for me. By the way I live in Las Vegas! Is there an explanation for this? |

Response from Dr. Henry
I have not aware of an association between Truvada and nevirapine and cold sensations. You could be somewhat flushed from a nevirapine reaction that is causing you to lose heat-I assume you have no rash or evidence of liver problems. thyroid abnormalities are another consideration. KH | ||||||||||
