Response from Dr. Henry
Certainly for the rest of the pregnancy. These days we are less often likely to recommend stopping therapy in a patient who is doing well on a given regimen. The Combivir/Kaletra is an established regimen for pregnancy and could be changed to a more user friendly regimen after delivery depending on the circumstances. If your CD4 count was high (ie >> 500) before starting treatment it might be soewhat easier to consider stopping treatment if you wanted to after delivery. KH
