| Air Dehumidifier and HIV Jul 7, 2009 Hi Dr Keith, Thanx for all your help, it has been very useful. I live in a city with 100% of humidity. I have been feeling kinda flusih this week and somebody suggested to have a dehumidifier in the room when i sleep. I was wondering if this is a good idea. Will it be healthy to be in a dehumidified room at night and in 100% humidity all day? Will this humidity changes every day be more worse than better? Will this help with my nasal congestion? Thanx a lot for everything! J |

Response from Dr. Henry
Good question-I am not aware of any good data on that topic. I don't have a sense of whether sleeping in a room with lowered humidity will help your flu symptoms though cooler/ lower humidity air might make for a better sleeping environment. Any readers with any opinions are welcome to weigh in. KH | |||||||||
