Schedule
Jun 17, 2009

I have been on meds (Truvada, Reyaataz and Norvir) Since Feb 09 at that time CD4 176 and VL 410,000. Now as of June 1st CD4 at 368 and VL 250. My questions is during the week I take my meds at 6am M_F. On Satruday I try to sleep in if possible. How late is too late to take my meds if I take them M-F at 6am. Is 2 hours ok but 3 is not. Need some hlep on this.

Response from Dr. Henry

OK to take your meds +/- 0-6 hours from the day before in most cases since there is a good forgiveness factor with your regimen (drug effect can last > 24 hours). I would make sure your HIV specialist is aware of your intentions in case there are some factors in your case that would impact such dosing modifications. KH
