body fat loss and growth hormone
Apr 16, 2009

Hi. I have experienced fat wasting most particulary on my legs. i have changed meds 2 yrs ago but my legs are not improving; they are so skinny that long walks and running are a definite no no for me. should i consider growth hormone therapy to give my legs some flesh?

Response from Dr. Henry

Growth hormone has not been demonstrated to add fat/bulk to the extremities (has been shown to decrease intra-abdominal fat modestly but with side effects and high cost). KH
