Response from Dr. Henry
Peripheral neuropathy is not very common from Truvada and Stocrine (< 5%). A good history and physical examination is needed to sort out the nature/distribution of your muscle/bone pain. Lab work up looking for evidence of vitamin deficiencies (such as vitamin D), muscle damage, rheumatogolic disorders, or metabolic problems often helpful. X-rays looking a bone density/structure in involved areas also may be indicated depending on findings from clinical evaluation. KH | ||||||||||
