| Lemon balm - any interactions with Atripla? Dec 19, 2008 Hi, I've been taking Atripla for over half a year now (my first therapy). I had quite severe side effects ever since then (nightmares, feeling depressed and scared etc). Recently I have started drinking regular evening tea made of: peppermint, lemon balm (melissae folium) and camomile. I must say this helped me a lot to get a healthy, deep sleep, with noticeably lighter dreams. It is also easier to fall asleep and I wake up much more relaxed; I really feel my wellbeing is benefiting from this simple recipe. My question is: is there any risk of interation between this 'herbal mix' and Atripla? I have spent hours on searching for the answer but did not find any clear clue (safe / not safe). I will appreciate your answer. Thank you in advance. Mike |

Response from Dr. Henry
I am not aware of any concerns about the use of those products together so would simply inform your HIV specialist so they can monitor you for any unusual issues. KH | ||||||||||
