herbal meds Sep 24, 2008 im currently taking 3Tc,Azt and Effavirens.ima lso taking prophilaxis Co-tri(bactrim).Im currently taking low dose of 1 capsule a day combined herbs of garlic,ginseng,gingko biloba and a. paniculatis Herbs. should i continue this? |

 Garlic may decrease levels of efavirenz so use is not recommended when taking efavirenz which is a crucial element of your HIV treatment. The other herbal meds OK as for as I know but no data that they are effective and safety and not been fully/properly evaluated. KH | |||||||||
