|Penis Vacuum Therapy
Sep 6, 2008
I've seen a television ad lately about a penis vacuum therapy tool that helps with erections and "staying power". The ad states it is even covered by medicare and other major insurance companies. My HIV meds interact with Levitra and other ED drugs so I was wondering if I should consider this vacuum therapy. Are these tools safe to use and will they work?
Response from Dr. Henry
Vacuum devices for impotence help some patients though I have little experience with such treatment in our clinic and I have seen little in medical literature regarding use in HIV+ patients. Many of the impotence drugs like Viagra can be used cautiously (reduced dosing often needed) in patients on protease inhibitors. KH
ls isentress integrase inhibitors the future for hiv meds ???
