swollen sore lips May 28, 2007 I have been HIV+ for around 10 years, no major complications. I woke up this mornin with sore and swollen lips, no blisters or anything. I am not any new medications. Please help |

 Sounds most like some form of contact iritation or allergy (sun or UV light exposure or insect bites are two common causes) though early infection with herpes virus or other microbe is a possibility. I would let your HIV specialist know about your symptom to see if he/she can evaluate you should that persist or worsen. KH | ||||||||
