is mine is swollen lymphnodes??
Apr 9, 2001

Dear Doc,

3 days after having risky exposure, I experienced a 10 days super burning and stiffness sensation in my back and going to my chest and appendix side (in order)...

Does the hardening and little cold on my front neck and inflammation on by back neck be swollen lymphnodes?? what is swelling lymphnodes?? is it inflammation?

I havn't see an enlarged lymphnodes besides on my neck. on the 7th day during the 10 days hotness, I can't speak too loud because of the hardening on my front neck (not too very hard). AND on the 9th day during that period, I had developed white very very tiny hairy coating on (all) top on my tongue plus white nerve-plaques in my cheeks that will produce white a creamy paste.

Presently, I'm 62 days after the exposure. I already underwent for blood screening, the result shall be out around next week.

Hope for your kind hypothesis and reply the soonest. Thank you.

Response from Dr. Henry

What you described would be very unusual to be related to HIV seroconversion. Getting tested was the right idea and hopefully will put the HIV matter to rest and then you can look for another explanation. KH
