Polymers vs Collagens Apr 7, 2001 Why are polumers not authorized for cosmetic purposes in the US. They are a lot cheaper than Collagens. Any other suggestion for correction of facial wasting will be appreciated. You render a great service. Thanks and congratulations. |

 I can't answer your question about polymers only that good clinical trial data and and safety information need to be available for FDA approval. The ACTG and other groups are looking at the use of metformin and/or glitizide diabetic drugs for that purpose. There is always your local cosmetic surgeon to ask. KH | ||
