atripla side effects
Nov 22, 2006

I recently found out i was hiv positive. My cd4 count was 141 and my viral load was 77,000. I started taking atripla about a week ago and have never really had a side effect. Does this mean the drug isn't working.

Response from Dr. Henry

No it likely means that your are fortunate and are tolerating the medication well (perhaps 50% of patients starting Atripla have little in the way of side effects which do not related to whether the drug is working or not). KH
